Extraction 2, The Palace & Shardlake

Netflix released the teaser for the project "Extraction 2" starring Chris Hemsworth that was also shot in Vienna in 2022. The sequel to the blockbuster "Extraction" from 2020 is released on June 16th, 2023.

HBO also released a teaser trailer for the series "The Regime" with Kate Winslet, which was directed by Stephen Frears and shot in Vienna in early 2023 under the working title "The Palace". The filming locations included Schönbrunn and the Palais Liechtenstein.

Disney+ also announced its new series, "Shardlake", based on the novels by author C.J. Sansom and produced by The Forge and Runaway Fridge. In addition to Austria, the project will be shot in Hungary and Romania and is financed with the new Austrian incentive model FISAplus.
